From a very early age i’ve been interested in medals. My Grandfathers Boer war and 14star and bar trio sparked my lifelong interest. (I still have them 65 years later).For a long period (where funds allowed) I concentrated on the Army in India from 1851 to 1936-37. Including the Indian Mutiny to the Royal Navy. Then along came an urge to collect Gallantry. About 30 years ago as the necessity arose to have a new kitchen i sold the greatest part of my collection, only retaining the choice items.
Since that time Gallantry, nursing and WW1 (good research potential) Still enjoy the Buzz of finding And researching.
